Private notes are only for the person who wrote them. Family is an explicit share with your household (not every login on this backoffice). Search matches book names (1 Nephi), verses, and words in the note. Use quotes for a phrase. Gospel Library imports appear here (highlights and notes).

Import Gospel Library markings

Not synced automatically. Best source: sign in at churchofjesuschrist.org/notes → download csv.csv, then upload here. Also accepts JSON/HTML/plain text. Click Preview parse (you should see refs like “1 Nephi 3:7”), then Apply import. If it says all skipped as already imported, check Manage markings below.

Help

This week — Come, Follow Me overview, openable reading chips, and class prep. Sunday School uses the CFM lesson. Elders Quorum and Relief Society use a recommended General Conference message for second-hour prep (your ward may choose a different talk).

Study — Guided study chat with your selected AI agent(s). Attach files, use the mic for speech-to-text, and read replies aloud. On a phone, long-press a reply to highlight text, then Copy or Save as note. Each message also has copy and note buttons.

Reader — Scripture text with multi-book open tabs, highlights, notes, and Strong’s links. The browser copy menu is off in Reader so verse highlights work. Study chat and Notes still allow select, copy, and paste.

Library — Browse sources as a title grid or table (each with a cover). Volumes include scripture, Apocrypha, Ensign, Journal of Discourses, and Other for leftover imports and extra works. Each shelf loads a page of sources and fetches more as you scroll. In table view, click a column header to sort (arrow shows direction); only the rows scroll so headers stay put. Choose a source to open chapters in a modal. Chapters that already have study notes show an orange dot. Doctrine and Covenants is one book; its parts are sections, not chapters. After you open a text in Reader, use Library (back) to return to the same shelf, filters, and scroll place. Use Add Sources to paste a URL, upload a file, or pick a public-domain catalog text (including the Zohar). Use Import Knowledge Base to pick individual KB items from a sortable table. Agent 1 can Edit any source (title, abbreviation, kind, source type, a source URL, an uploaded file to replace the text, and chapter text).

Timeline — Horizontal history of the world from Creation through A.D. 70 (data from Files #361 Timeline.xlsx). Person lifespans appear as Gantt bars (born–died); other events are markers above the bars. Tap a person or event to open details and the event list underneath (hidden until then). Wheel or pinch zooms toward the pointer; drag to pan. Search and open linked verses in Reader or Study. Matching verses in the Reader show a timeline badge.

Study AI — Uses your religion-named AI agent(s) automatically (e.g. Religion Study). Create them under MD AI → AI Agents.

Concordance — Hebrew and Greek lexicon lookup (H#### / G####). Also available from the Reader when a verse has lexicon links.

Notes — Family and private study notes.

Search — Search notes, weeks, verses, and Concordance.

Appearance — Text size, font, spacing, and color schemes (including overall Green) live in Settings.

Settings — Appearance (size, font, color), audience, gender/class, voice, plus Gospel Library marking import.

Lesson text is a family study aid, not an official Church publication. Verify scripture wording in Gospel Library when needed. Use Start tutorial for a stepped walkthrough of every tab.
